Blattformer

[This game is for Comfy Jam: Autumn 2026]

Hello all players and game jam judges! Blattformer is a challenging platformer featuring a leaf that is scared of heights!

It's a game with 3 worlds of 9 stages each. You can start world 2 and 3 from the "World Select" menu without finishing world 1, but we do recommend to play them in order.

Hope you enjoy! Looking forward to any and all feedback!

actually pretty challenging ! once the firefly  got added , i was like 'ok this isn't gonna be easy' and then i peaked at worlds 2 and 3 too! its a little awkward to play on mouse and keyboard because i have to do so much with my left hand.. but the concepts are all great here

thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed it! There's also gamepad controls, but imo they are even more awkward because we had to put the jump on the shoulder buttons so that you can use the right stick to shine the light :D

The float mechanic is annoying and doesn't seem to add anything. Just make a normal double jump.

We went back and forth on the float mechanic and ultimately decided to stick with it. A regular double jump felt too friction-less and the floating fits the main character and makes it more unique in my eyes :)

It's nice if you have a floating mechanic where you can actually move, but this is just a slightly worse pause.
